About Brian Alcorn

Founded in 1998, Brian C. Alcorn Construction, LLC continues to unveil dreams for clients in the Triangle area. With over 20 years of experience, Brian values his experience in providing quality work through his custom home design process.

Brian dedicated his early career to learn the foundations of designing and building custom homes. His experiences and knowledge has lended him to become one of the most sought out contractors in the Triangle.

As a young carpenter, Brian knew it was important to gain experience in general contracting. Brian started building his knowledge in carpentry during his four years in high school. He spent nearly ten years with his mentor, building homes from the ground up. Brian was able to learn how to create the details that make a home unique to itself. Starting off with framing the structure of a new home to bring the stability for longevity. He quickly became an expert in designing and installing the things that make a house a home: interior trim, cabinets, siding, and roofing. Brian gained all of this experience also while accomplishing his degree in Architectural Technology from Guilford Technical Community College.

Fresh out of Guilford Tech, Brian transitioned to First General Services as a construction manager. He specialized in insurance repair on homes. He reviewed damage to homes, then scheduled the jobs with subcontractors and employees. This provided him the experience to oversee and manage projects until completion.

In 1998, Brian successfully started his own business as a general contractor. He holds an unlimited general contractor's license for any residential or commercial building. He continues to bring innovation and individuality to every project he works on. When he works with clients, he provides them with a design and build that exceeds their expectations.

Brian Alcorn is not only an exceptional contractor, he is a family man. He and his wife Paula have been married for twenty years. They have a daughter Ella and a son Camber. Camber spends a great deal of time with his father after school and in the summers working to follow in his foot steps to become a general contractor.
